We do Amazon, Baker and Taylor and Ingram distro. We do marketing for the author and we develop press kits.
You have to sell many books to make distribution worth while in bookstores. Most publishing companies offer new authors 6 percent of the wholesale cost. WB offers authors 8 percent of the wholesale cost. As sales increase, profits increase for the author.
We offer bookstores a 55% discount off the listed price. Authors are paid quarterly.
We sell books to authors at large discounted rates for touring, 60% off of the cover price. A 15.00 book, we sell to the author for 6.00 so the author can make 9.00 per book. Taxes and shipping are charged to the author.
When an author releases a book, they must portion a certain number of book sales to go towards the charity of their choice. Write Bloody forfeits its portion of those book sales to the charity also. Click the Sweet Charity Button for more info.
