New Year, NEW WRITE BLOODY FAMILY MEMBER!
Some of you may have already heard, but we're beyond excited to officially announce that Jacqueline Suskin has joined the Write Bloody family! Her book will be out later this year and we'll keep you updated on allll the details.
Known for her multidisciplinary project Poem Store, Jacqueline composes improvisational poetry for patrons on her manual typewriter. She has written for Oprah, Maria Shriver, Drew Barrymore, Cheryl Strayed, and Gwyneth Paltrow, and has collaborated with Nike, PayPal, Alice + Olivia, and more, finding endless ways to bring poetry into the mainstream. Jacqueline was honored by Michelle Obama at the White House for her work as a Turnaround Artist, and has been featured in New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, and countless other publications.
Already the author of three books, we’re thrilled to have Jacqueline add her incredible talent to the Write Bloody family.

In celebrating the life and newly found work of Jack McCarthy, we invite you to come share stories and poems celebrating a life in poetry. Come join Mighty Mike McGee as he host three nights of celebration: October 14th-16th. Each night will feature readings by special guests and a Book Lottery. The purchase of a 2 dollar ticket will automatically enter you into the Book Lottery, where we will give away 5 books. The celebration starts at 7pm in the time zone of the host city.
Wednesday, October 14th will be host from the East Coast, 7pm
Thursday, October 15th will be host from the Pacific Northwest 7pm and
Friday, October 16th will be host from California. 7pm
