Miriam Kramer’s eclectic Built by Storms dives headfirst into the lowest of lows, the dark throes of addiction and the walls broken by angry fists.
Sometimes the path to healing isn’t linear. Sometimes the next step means traveling to another reality. In these poems, Kramer demonstrates what it means to be built by the storms of our past, our what-ifs, our lost relationships, and what it means to survive all that was and could have been. This collection doesn't shy away from the brutality of suicide, the numbness of depression, and the horror of loss.
I’ve tried yoga and every juice cleanse.
Google, what is the likelihood
