Pansy by Andrea Gibson (Hardcover)

Step into the beautiful queer world of Andrea Gibson's Pansy, a love letter to the messy, complicated work of becoming yourself.
With an artful hand, Gibson seamlessly blends themes of love, gender, politics, sexuality, and forgiveness. Each poem contains the kind of honesty that makes you feel like you’re sitting across from an old friend telling you the hard truth. Gibson has a way of turning the personal into something universal—of taking the moments we’re taught to hide and fearlessly holding them to the light.
Embark on a lifelong journey of self-discovery and transformation with Pansy.
This year has been the hardest year of your whole life.
So hard you cannot see a future most days.
The pain is bigger than anything else.
Takes up the whole horizon
no matter where you are.
